Dejan Petrović
is a screenwriter and director of several short documentary films and a producer of over 60 short documentaries. He is the founder and director of the Independent Film Centre “Filmart”, which has been realizing several projects, including Interaction. He is also the artistic director and programmer of the Interaction Festival of Short Documentary Film.

He works as a full professor at the Film and Television Directing study program at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade.He is a member of the DokSrbija- Association of Documentary Filmmakers of Serbia.

Awards and Recognitions
His documentaries have been shown at numerous festivals in the world – IDFA, Visions du Réel, Dok Leipzig, Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen, Busan International Short Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival, Dokufest, ZagrebDox and others.
His film “Adjusting” was nominated for the prestigious Doc Alliance Award in 2023. He has won more than 30 awards at film festivals in the country and abroad.
